During our cultural workshop, participants will:
Discover the process of Salvadoran indigo extraction.
Engage in a traditional dyeing method using organic indigo (añil).
Each workshop will have their specific item:
Upcycled fabric wall art - Indigo tapestry (January 31, February 1)
A tote bag or a gift-wrapping cloth (perfect for the holidays or any occasion)(February 7, 8)
A silk neck scarf (February 14, 15)
A table runner or a wooden interior decoration. (February 21, 22, 28, March 1)
Choose one technique to explore:
Shibori or Batik technique
Lino printing
Spray painting with stencils
