Rosa Diaz is a Salvadoran-American multidisciplinary artist and founder of Nativa Studio. She studies how ancient Americas artists used specific methods and materials for textile dyeing and ceramics. By combining old clay science with native indigo dye, she explores how these ancestral techniques can recreate “Maya Blue” in today’s visual culture, connecting the past and the present.
